Britain's leader will push supporting countries to supply Ukraine with additional advanced missile systems to target enemy locations during discussions in the UK capital on this Friday.

The prime minister will host Ukraine's leader Zelensky alongside what's known as "alliance of supportive nations", including more than 20 of Kyiv's partners who have agreed to offer Ukraine security guarantees once hostilities pause is negotiated.

Ukraine's president has been pleading for an extended period for more extended-range systems from Western nations, a move that Moscow has cautions would escalate the conflict.

The Ukrainian president is coming from the EU capital, where he held talks with European representatives on Thursday pursuing funding aid.

"The single figure participating in current hostilities who declines to halt the conflict is Vladimir Putin," the Prime Minister stated.

Britain's leader will also announce that a hundred further anti-aircraft missiles will be supplied to Ukrainian forces ahead of schedule, as specified in a £1.6bn deal concluded between the UK and the Ukrainian government in spring.

International Support

Ukraine's leader comes off the back of two diplomatic wins this week: Washington's action to implement new measures against the Russian government, and EU nations agreeing to finance Kyiv's budgetary shortfall.

Britain's leader is seeking to continue the progress by intensifying the pressure on the Kremlin to discuss a resolution to the conflict.

The Prime Minister will press delegates to ramp up the delivery of long-range weapons following an effective strike on a manufacturing site in Bryansk, Russia, using Britain-delivered missile systems.

"And his brutal attacks on innocent children in a preschool this week demonstrate that abundantly clear," he added.

Two children were part of a minimum of seven lost in multiple enemy assaults on Ukraine, which struck a preschool facility in the second biggest city Ukraine's second city.

Financial Discussions

The Prime Minister will confer with Western allies on methods to withdraw Russian oil and gas off the global market.

The participants will also examine using frozen Russian assets to supply the Ukrainian government with financial loans, though the proposal faced a lack of political consensus and regulatory obstacles at the Brussels summit on the previous day.

European Union declined to consenting a plan to utilize approximately €140 billion in seized Russian resources to financially prop up Ukraine.

Nevertheless, the leaders agreed to help support Ukraine's "budgetary necessities" for the upcoming biennium.

The US furthermore announced measures on midweek against Russia's major energy corporations, Rosneft and the private firm, as part of efforts to increase monetary leverage on Moscow to enter hostility discussions.

Russia began its full-scale invasion of the country in February 2022. Russian troops currently controls about twenty percent of Ukraine's soil, including the southern region the Russian government seized in several years ago.
